We are now proud to annouce our partnership with The Society of Occupational Medicine (SOM) to facilitate the entry into Occupational Health through exam support and other means.
Although not specific, our courses and resources are likely to provide support for the Licentiate of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (LFOM), a Faculty of Occupational Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians Ireland (RCPI) exam. This is an internationally recognised qualification in Occupational Medicine.

The Society of Occupational Medicine is the largest UK organisation for all healthcare professionals working in/with an interest in occupational health.
It is concerned with the protection of the health of people in the workplace, the prevention of occupational injuries and disease, and related environmental issues.

Dr Clare Fernandes is the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for the BBC and an Occupational Health Physician in Central London.
She is an Associate Specialist in Occupational Medicine, having completed both the DOccMed and AFOM exams in recent years.
She also received of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine Mobbs Fellowship and gained a distinction in the MSc for Occupational Medicine. More recently, she was humbled to be highly commended by the Society of Occupational Medicine in the category of '2021 Outstanding Occupational Health Practitioner'.
She wrote the book 'Questions and Answers for the Diploma in Occupational Medicine', which has previously been nominated for a BMJ Book Award.
Dr Sarwar Chowdhury is an experienced Occupational Health Physician (OHP) and the Senior Lead OHP of an NHS Occupational Health Department.
He conducts a broad variety of assessments including NHS work, Management Referrals, DVLA & Rail Medicals, Health Surveillance, Biological Monitoring, Ill Health Retirement, Drug and Alcohol screening, Clinical Governance & more...
He has vast experience in delivering training for other Health Care Professionals. He is also an Associate Specialist in Occupational Medicine having also completed the AFOM exams, in addition to gaining an AdvDipOccMed from Manchester University.
He is also the Society of Occupational Medicine (SOM) CESR Representative, and has delivered several webinars to help doctors careers in Occupational Medicine.
